What Arasul is for an agency

An agency's knowledge lives in proposals, project files, style guides and well-worn processes. Arasul keeps that knowledge as a single company folder on a server at your agency and hosts the internal apps built from it next to it.

This is for software, web and creative agencies and for any firm whose work is mostly knowledge. Coding agents read the folder as context, so they work with what your agency already knows rather than with general knowledge from the internet. The folder is synced to your team's workstations, and an overview shows who changed what.

From folder to apps

Your internal apps are built with the open Ara-Kit in Claude Code and run on your own server.

Claude Code reads the company folder for this: past proposals, day rates, project templates and the style guide. The Ara-Kit puts the finished app onto the server, Arasul hosts it and signs your team in, and the admin decides which app each person sees. That is how workflows that should run the same way every time become internal apps and automations.

Arasul does not ship these apps ready-made; they are examples of what agencies build for themselves. A bridge lets an agent in the folder work with the apps, and every app's interface sits under /apps/<name>/api/ for that. How far the folder and the bridge have come is answered in the FAQ.

Client data and NDA material stay in house

Agencies work with other people's data: client lists, credentials, unreleased campaigns and source code under NDA. With Arasul all of it sits on the server at your agency, not with a cloud provider whose sub-processors and data centre locations you can barely keep track of. For the GDPR that means the apps process client data on your premises, with no transfer to a third party and none outside the EU.

The admin decides who signs in and which apps a person sees. The permissions per folder and person define what an external agent gets to see from the folder. That is how you decide what leaves the server, client by client.

Does my agency need its own developers?

Not necessarily. Claude Code writes the code, and the Ara-Kit walks you through the steps up to a running app. A software agency usually builds its apps itself, a creative agency often has a partner build them. Either way the result is the same: the app runs on your server, and Arasul signs your team in there.

What happens to client data and NDA material?

The apps process it on the server at your agency, and Arasul transfers none of it to us. Running the apps therefore involves no outside cloud provider that gets to see client data, and under the GDPR no transfer of that data outside the EU. It is different when someone points an external coding agent such as Claude Code at the company folder: that agent only gets what the permissions per folder and person allow, and your admin sets those. Whether an NDA permits an external agent at all is a question for your contract with the client, and NDA material goes into a folder the agent cannot see.

What does Arasul cost an agency?

One-time, you pay for the server and the license: the NVIDIA DGX Spark with Arasul set up for around 6,900 euros and the Arasul license for 5,500 euros, both net of VAT. Running costs are electricity, around 20 euros a month at 90 watts around the clock, and optional maintenance at 2,000 euros net per year. There are no fees per user or per request. Against cloud AI at 37 euros per user and month, the break-even for ten users comes after about 36 months without maintenance and about 68 months with it. For 30 users it is about 12 months without and about 14 months with maintenance.

What hardware does Arasul run on?

Verified, Arasul runs today on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin. You can order the NVIDIA DGX Spark from us, and we set Arasul up on it after the order.
