Ara OS

Controllable intelligence.

An operating system for local AI agents that automate your workflows.

Runs locally · GDPR-compliant · No cloud lock-in

What you do with it

Everything cloud AI does, without the cloud.

Ara OS turns your own server into a private AI that you control. You configure agents, automate workflows and build whatever you need on top. Your data stays with you.

Configure local AI agents

Build assistants for fixed tasks. Each agent gets exactly the tools and context it needs and works with models that run on your own device.

Automate workflows

Wire your agents into automations: read invoices, prepare quotes, sort emails. The workflows run locally on the device, connected to your own programs.

Build extensions

Whatever your business specifically needs, you build on top: a pricing model, a customer portal, a link to your inventory system. Yourself or with a partner.

Add external cloud models

For heavy tasks you can bring in a large cloud model when needed. The local base stays the default, the cloud stays the exception.

The foundation

Three layers, one system

Hardware, operating system, your own extensions. Open a layer to see what is inside.

Your extensions

Pricing model · Customer portal · Inventory link

you or your partner

Everything only your business needs. You build it on top through a documented interface, or have a partner build it. Either way it uses the agents, the automation and your documents that are already there.

Ara OS

AI agents · Automation · Document search · local models

included out of the box

The operating system. AI agents for fixed tasks, workflows they trigger, search across your contracts and manuals, plus language models that run locally. It works from day one, you do not start from scratch. Updates come through the maintenance plan.

Your hardware

DGX Spark · DGX Station

sits with you

A machine on your premises, not a data center. Your data never leaves the building, because the models compute directly on the device. You can order the device through us or source it yourself, Ara OS runs the same on both paths.

Platform

Runs on ARM. Two examples.

Ara OS is pure software. These two devices show the range, it runs the same on other ARM boxes.

NVIDIA DGX Spark, compact AI mini server

NVIDIA DGX Spark

The AI server for the desk. Compact, quiet, enough power for a team.

NVIDIA DGX Station, AI server in a tower case

NVIDIA DGX Station

The larger option. For more people, more data and heavier models.

FAQ

Questions and answers.

What is Ara OS?
Ara OS is an operating system for private AI. It runs on your own server and turns it into a local AI that you control yourself. You configure AI agents for fixed tasks, automate your workflows with them and search your documents. All local, without the cloud.
What hardware does Ara OS run on?
On any NVIDIA or ARM box that you own. Typical choices are the NVIDIA DGX Spark for the desk and the DGX Station for more power, but it runs just as well on other ARM boxes. You bring your own hardware, or we source it for you.
Is the hardware included in the price of Ara OS?
No, those are two separate things. Ara OS is the software licence, the device comes on top. For an NVIDIA DGX Spark, expect around 5,200 euros net if you order it through us, shipping included. Ara OS runs the same either way.
Can I buy Ara OS myself or do I need a partner?
Both work. You can buy Ara OS directly and set it up yourself, the setup is guided. Or you find a partner in the directory who installs it on site, configures it and builds custom workflows on top if you need them.
Do I need IT skills to install it?
No. You install Ara OS on your box with a single command and then follow the setup assistant in your browser. That takes a few minutes. If you would rather not touch it at all, a partner sets it up for you.
Which data leaves my company?
None. Everything is processed locally on your hardware. No data is transferred to external servers, not even to us.
How is Ara OS different from ChatGPT or cloud AI?
With ChatGPT and other cloud services, your input goes to someone else's servers. With Ara OS everything stays on your own hardware. You do not need a constant internet connection to use the AI. You can still add external models when you need them.
Is Ara OS GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Because all data stays on your own server and nothing is sent outside, Ara OS meets GDPR requirements without extra measures.
What does Ara OS cost?
Ara OS is a one-time licence with an optional maintenance package for updates and security. We share concrete prices in the signed-in area or through your partner, who prepares a fitting offer for you.
Are there hidden costs or a subscription?
No. You pay for the licence once, then the usage is yours. There is no mandatory subscription and no cost per request, because the models run on your own device. Only the maintenance package for updates renews yearly, and it is optional.
Who is Ara OS for?
For small and mid-sized companies that work with sensitive data. Typical cases are law firms, medical practices, tax advisors, engineering offices and trade businesses. Anywhere records should not go into someone else's cloud.
Can I use my own models and extensions?
Yes. Through Ollama you load any compatible open-source model, for example Llama, Mistral, Qwen or Gemma. Custom extensions come in through a documented interface, either from you or from a partner.
How does support work?
You reach us by email at info@arasul.de. We reply within 24 hours on business days. If Ara OS runs through a partner, your partner is the first point of contact.
